MANAH CENTRAL LIBRARY: GD/BRAINSTORM ROOMS
"The Group Discussion and Brainstorm Rooms at MANAH Library are collaborative learning spaces designed to foster academic excellence, research innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving. These spaces support students, faculty, researchers, and staff in engaging with ideas, developing knowledge, and advancing teaching, learning, and research in a technology-enabled environment."
Recommended Booking Policy
- Available to all MAHE B’LR students, faculty, researchers, and staff.
- Booking through the Library Portal booking system.
- Maximum booking duration:
- GD Room: Up to 1 hours per session.
- Brainstorm Room: Up to 2 hours per session.
- Minimum occupancy:
- GD Room: 3–14 users.
- Brainstorm Room: 15+ users.
AV Room : 35+
- Rooms must be vacated promptly after the reserved time.
- Maintain silence outside the room and keep noise within acceptable limits.
- Food & beverages not allowed.
- Leave the room clean and switch off all equipment after use.
- Repeated no-shows may result in temporary suspension of booking privileges.
The rooms should not be used for:
- Personal gatherings
- Birthday celebrations
- Non-academic meetings
- Political or religious meetings
- Commercial activities
- Loud entertainment
- Food parties (unless specifically permitted)
- Sleeping or extended personal use
